Meaningful Data: The Things I Wish I Knew

Nowadays, highly smart products in a networked society capture virtual data of their lifespan as well as those of ours, both of which and their metadata can be developed into rich stories and potential utility, like personal identity, locative narratives, memory triggers and problem predicting. The PhD project aims to explore how these digital files and their associated metadata can be exploited in novel ways, both for functional purposes creating long-term utility, and to create new experiences that enable creative, evocative, and contextual uses of personal data.
